Terms of Service
Last updated: April 19, 2026
1. What Bisect Is
Bisect is a browser-based embroidery digitizing tool. You upload images, draw designs, and export stitch files for embroidery machines. The service is provided as-is.
2. Your Account
You need an account to save projects. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person.
3. Your Content
You own everything you create in Bisect. We don't claim any rights to your designs, images, or exported files. You grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service.
Don't upload content you don't have rights to. If you upload copyrighted images for digitizing, that's between you and the copyright holder.
4. Acceptable Use
Don't use Bisect to:
- Violate any laws
- Upload malicious files
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Overload the service with automated requests
5. Service Availability
We aim to keep Bisect running but don't guarantee 100% uptime. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We'll try to give notice for major changes.
6. Embroidery Output
Bisect generates stitch files for embroidery machines. We don't guarantee that every generated file will sew perfectly on every machine. Always test with a sample sew before running production designs. We're not responsible for thread breaks, fabric damage, or machine issues caused by generated stitch files.
7. Payments
Bisect is currently free to use during the beta. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, pricing and terms will be presented before any charge.
8. Limitation of Liability
Bisect is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
